What a great morning!!!! I had my monthly visit at Elite Chiro, had an experience at Pure Solace with Jodie giving me a very relaxing message and Missy coloring and a haircut to a head of hair that drastically needed help. Missy did an awesome job and made me look like a million dollars. I'm blessed with two daughters that enjoy spoiling their Mother.

This afternoon I did laundry, a job overdue. Jodie called and we did some brainstorming on some issues. Gary and I watched the movie, Valentine's Day, this evening. I contacted Chad and made arrangements to stay with him when the girls, kids and myself make the trip to Kansas tomorrow. We'll miss you Aunt Bean! I know that we will have a great time with Uncle Chad. The kids love to tackle and wrestle Uncle Chad. Four kids ganging up on Uncle Chad - will he survive???? We're going to Kansas to see GGFleming and GGSteinle.

I have a great family! It thrills my heart when they are at home playing, eating and visiting with a cup of coffee around the kitchen table (just like I did with my Dad, Grandpa Dutch). We're all anxiously awaiting for Elias to come for his 1st visit! My heart is in prayer for him that he stays well, grows and develops as a little boy would. I pray that Chad and Brenda will receive a call soon for a court date and the approval from Ethiopia courts will be soon thereafter. I pray all travels and time spent in Africa that the family of three will be kept safe. Lord, You have brought them this far may favor be granted to them that all will work according to Your honor and glory. Thank You for Baby Elias M**** Fleming!!!!!!!

What a great night at Awana!!!!! We had 10 alive and very active Sparkies!!! I love it! They are so excited to learn and hear the Word of God. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to serve You as being the Director of Sparks!
Just finished reading the book Red Letters. It opened my eyes! We need to move together as a compassionate army of Jesus' love, bringing peace and hope to a world in need. Everyone can do something to change the world. We should help our bothers and sisters out. "Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me---you did it to me." Matt. 25:40

I want to take the first step in the Five for 50. I want to give five minutes a day to pray for those suffering from HIV/AIDS. If you want to know what Five for 50 is, please ask and I'd be more than happy to explain.

How blessed we are!!!!! and most of us don't realize our blessings.

Dad is still trying to act out his talent in fishing. Last night he did go fishing and caught 7 but no picture so I have nothing to prove if it is larger than the one pictured.

SPRING BREAK WITH JODIE & JAELYN

What a fun time we had when Jodie & Jaelyn came for the week. We had an awesome time! Jaelyn was such the winner at Candyland. We all played against her and she is pretty hard to beat. We had a little picnic the day Jaelyn and Jodie racked the front yard. They worked so hard and it looked SOOOOOO good!!!!! Thank you! Jaelyn loves helping Nana in the kitchen and Nana loves her help. Jaelyn wanted pancakes so before we started she sifted the flour to make them yummy! Jodie did lots around the house to help me. The laundry was a very needed job to be done and Jodie did a great job. Jodie and Jaelyn even cleaned the grout on my kitchen counter. I have to wear sunglasses when I enter the room. The sparkle is so bright!!!!! I love bedtime with Jaelyn. The all-time sleepifruit, the magicial fruit that helps kids fall asleep to the reading of stories. This only works for Nana and Papa so those of you that are reading this the fruit will not work for you, sorry! I love it! Melissa, Ryan, Garrett and Landon spent time out at the house during the spring break week. It is always a joy to hear Jaelyn and Garrett as they play. The house is too quiet when they leave. It was a blessed time!
As you all know, I did not get to make my trip to Kansas. I was very sad for I didn't get to see my kids and Jaelyn. So, today has been a catch-up day, a very much needed day. I've got lots done and the one thing I wanted to do is Blog and try to put more pictures on. So much has happened in the last 2 weeks. Jodie and Jaelyn were with us for a week, we took care of Missy & Ryan's boys while they celebrated their anniversary and Dad went to Florida. Wow! Dad is out working on his tractor to get it running. He doesn't have his little helpers here, Jaelyn and Garrett, Papa needs you! I was just ready to publish my post and I hear a tractor running in the garage! Papa will be so pleased!

Ramblings in my Brain

I sit here and listen to Christmas music, hear the sawing of tree limbs and the smell of burning hair and I think Garrett and Jaelyn are running with scissors. I am a great Nana. Good thing their parents will never know. Okay, it's not scissors, but they are running. It's awesome to hear them laugh and play made up games together. On the other hand, I sit here holding my little sweet pea. Even after he's spit up on me 3 times and I've changed into another shirt, I love hearing him as he spews forth his lunch. Oh, here comes Mr. Burnt Hair. He was down by the water burning the huge pile of broken limbs left he over from the ice storm. Little Landon is, for some reason, so relaxed and about to fall asleep in my arms. Or is he just thinking of the angle in which he will puke on me next time? And everyone wonders why I don't blog... I am actually paying my oldest daughter to write these words. Shhh, don't tell the other kids. Landon just fell asleep in my arms and his paci fell out. He's so tired. How is he sleeping with the other kids making so much noise? Who knows. I wanted pictures of Jaelyn helping her Papa burn the branches, but I think the camera fell into the flames. Now I will never get the pictures off the camera. This time I have a real excuse. It sounds fake. But, when I tell someone, "I don't have my pictures downloaded onto my computer." They ask me why... "Well, we dropped the camera into a big brush bonfire." That does not sound realistic. I guess I will just have to download the pictures and come clean about the camera. It's not in the fire. It still has 1,000 pictures on it. Mostly Christmas. Maybe I can get my daughter to download them all and I can make 100 albums from all of them. I will have a library of all the pictures that I take. Hmmm, sounds like fun. Come back soon and see what else I have on my mind.
